ABOUT DR. TRICIA
I grew up in northern California where the weather is warm and stray cats roam the neighborhoods. Our house quickly became the place where these cats could get a free meal and a little love. In addition to working at veterinary clinics, I spent time at the California Marine Mammal Center rehabilitating sick and injured California sea lions and harbor seals.
College brought me to Colorado State University where I was awarded a prestigious work study scholarship. This research focused on the human animal bond. Specifically the role of euthanasia in veterinary medicine. Something I have become very passionate about.
I completed my veterinary training at Kansas State University. Upon graduation, we moved to Nebraska to be close to family. I worked in a busy small animal practice and was in charge of the mobile veterinary services. I realized the importance of a quality home euthanasia care. Gently guiding the family through this deeply personal decision with empathy and grace. I truly believe the hardest decisions are made with the most love.
Dr. Tricia Sund founded LoTe because she believes a peaceful transition is the final gift you can give -- euthanasia in the privacy and comfort of your home surrounded by the people your pet loves.
